(Award Winning) Creative Designer/Engineer with ten plus years experience who does mobile app development working with agencies in the area to fill in the gaps for creative and engineering work.

Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, UI, UX, Motion Design, Typography, Responsive, Mobile/Web/Installation, Unity3d, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Node, CSS, HTML, PHP, MySQL, GIT SVN.

Compensation Requirements: $100,000

Location Requirements: Philadelphia, PA (lives in Fishtown)

Interview Notes: Has had his own company for 11 years… doing well… co-founder left… so he’s been running the company himself… downshifted about 2 years ago, some employees left… it’s really too much for him to do all by himself… really needs a teammate or partner… but now he’s open to different things…He does it all… does mobile app dev and creative…a lot of work with museums…a lot of the jobs he’s finding are hyper-focused on full stack web development…. doesn’t want to be pigeon-holed…unity is very cool, it leverages real programming languages that people know, so it’s a way you could bring the web team person up to speed and help, or hire another web dev to pitch in and help… vs ObjC would be locking you in, and you’d be locked into ObjC and Android Native, 2 code basis… NOT A NATIVE DEVELOPER…. that’s specifically bc it’s bad for business. He can do it, he’s done it before, he would never recommend it to any company. If you’re a paying app like Instagram, YES do it. If you’re building a product that is making money, yes. If you’re trying to provide content and reach a lot of people it makes sense. Responsible for building one of the larges kiosks in America., an art show, and a video game.
