Recruiter Notes: Been client facing his entire career… early on was more account management, renewing accounts and growing the business… then moved into Success… at his previous position, he was responsible for adoption and the business portion (renewals) but at his current role, he’s focused on more of the technical side, driving adoption and making sure things are going well but not doing the “business” side with renewals, sales, etc.
Fortune 500 strategic accounts… larger accounts…. he’s one of 3 on the “strategic account” team….. usually has about 15 clients…. has held as many as 25, really depended on the product… 50 to 100+ employees at the clients using the software, so once it is brought in from sales, he’s meeting the company expectations…. he works with implementation for setup, then tracking usage, getting over any obstacles the client is facing, helping client see value, doing case studies and referrals from clients, making sure they’re in a good spot for renewal…. SaaS background for past 5-6 years, likes working with technology and likes working with people…. 3 on Strategic Account team (including him) + 9 or so on Premium/Premium+ Account team + overseas Operations team members….. and he interacts with Implementation Team for 4 weeks (or longer) to get account set up, and the Account Mgmt team for renewals and up-sell….
Passively looking… doing well at but a few things that he was expecting around compensation and bonuses have not lived up to the hype so he would entertain something new if it was the right fit…. wants to be tech-focused, forward focused, doesn’t want Ad Sales for example… has worked in startups and larger companies so company size is not important to him…. good benefits, health for family, 401k, etc, are all important to him.
