Recruiter Notes: He is a Network Administrator at his current company. Has A+ Certification already. Network+ is scheduled. He does not believe he has a non-compete… employees have left for other MSPs and while the manager has not been thrilled, it has not been an issue. He does have a clause saying he cannot go work for a client. He has been with his current company for 3 years…. Very small MSP, about 15 people… everyone does everything…. Great place to learn and grow, get your hands in a lot of different things… a fast learner, has been able to get his hands on a lot of different things…. In the past year or so has been doing some PM type of work for clients who are relocating/expanding… did a lot of the network engineer and network admin work on those… switch and firewall configurations…. Also is now supervising a few employees…. That type of growth is what he’s looking for, moving up the ladder…. Growth is tapped out in the current company… too small company, unless the manager leaves, he can’t grow… was a great place to learn and grow, but now he’s learned and knows which way he wants to go… networking, in particular, is where his interest lies… would like a role where he can be more focused in his work…. The backbone of networks is Windows, though, even in Mac environments. VMWare at all clients… came in supporting existing, and then was able to transition to new sites for a few clients and built a brand new VMware. Using Active Directory for years. many clients on 365… doing a mail migration right now for one client. Working with a lot of different types of routers and switches… It depends on clients…. Military contractors, medical companies, schools, some larger some smaller… has worked a little with Cisco but more with Aruba. Lives in Fishtown – Going to Bensalem is fine. Some clients are 2 hours away, he’s fine with travel. Looking for $65k.
