Compensation Requirements: $50K

Location Requirements: Ideally would like to be within 30 minutes of Doylestown, PA, but is open to hearing about opportunities a bit farther away if there is opportunity for career advancement and it’s a great fit.

Interview Notes: Currently working as a Tier 1 Help Desk Technical Support Specialist, handling about 20 tickets per day. These include: minor networking issues, troubleshooting general printer issues, application support, working with vendors to fix issues, assisting in customer roll out and on-site services.

He’s familiar with VMWare, firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, supports some server situations (i.e. support if a server crashes, restoring files, assisting engineers with installs and updates, running batch files and processor utilizations).

He has some Tier 2 support experience, and would like to move into a Tier 2 level role. Opportunity for advancement is important to him as he ultimately wants to be a Network Engineer or a Security Engineer.

Education: Associate’s Degree, Computer and Information Sciences, Pennsylvania State University

Certifications: CompTIA A+ Certification, and working towards his Network+ Certification
