Recruiter Notes: UX director at current company…Prefers to stay in the suburbs…has done the city before…not the most pleasant commute…would drive into the city…a day or 2 works from home would be manageable…proactively looking…tapped out vertically at current company…could be there for another 5 years doing the same exact same thing…doesn’t want to do that…wants to get into an organizational for vertical growth…work somewhere for the next decade or so as a stepping stone for the next thing…spends about 40% of his time as a people manager…not a bad thing…enjoys mentoring…wants to do work from start to finish…other 60% is being a salesperson selling experienced design…RFP responses…enjoys working with the team but doesn’t get to see anything through…doesn’t want to sit at a desk pumping out wireframes…work with a small team…agile approach…work with little tribes…multidisciplinary teams…8-10 person team is very attractive…makes 2.5-3% every year in comp increase…more into the solutioning aspect…$165K + 12% performance-based bonus…vertical bump OK…$175K comp + bonus would be what he needs…
