Job Description – Principal DevSecOps Engineer
The Principal DevSecOps Engineer will work actively engaging with customers as a DevOps/Cloud subject matter expert and escalation point.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the transformation of architecture and technologies, driving expansion of our various IoT applications.
- Leading modernization and optimization efforts to improve reliability and scalability of systems and platforms.
- Assisting the customer with management and improvement with CI/CD pipeline and configuration management tooling and approaches.
- Driving efficiency and reducing error rates with scripting and automation.
- Actively seeking solutions to customer needs, communicating trends to leadership, and suggesting innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience.
- Assisting with customer communication during critical launches and support events.
- Assuming responsibility for developing detailed knowledge about specific product lines and features.
Qualifications – Principal DevSecOps Engineer
A successful Principal DevSecOps Engineer must have broad technical security skills in multiple technology areas such as systems management, big data, cloud computing, DNS, networking, encryption, authentication.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization and/or microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience with configuration management and automation (Terraform, DSC, Ansible, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Ability to conduct forensic analysis for both Windows and Unix/Linux environments
- Working knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools.
- Working knowledge of incident response phases and concepts.
- Previous experience with EDR and forensics would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of best practice security frameworks.
- Security+/CCNP/CCSK/CCSP/AWS).
