EVENT PRIVACY POLICY

By registering for or attending an IT Pros event (including in‑person, virtual, and LinkedIn-hosted events), attendees are informed that photos, videos, and recordings from the event may be used for IT Pros marketing and communication purposes, and they agree to this use as a condition of participation.​

Event media notice

  • IT Pros may capture photos, video, and audio during in‑person and virtual events, including LinkedIn Events, webinars, and live streams.​
  • These recordings may include your image, likeness, voice, name as displayed, profile photo, chat participation, questions, and any content you choose to share during the event.​

How media may be used

  • Event photos, videos, and audio may be used in IT Pros marketing and communication materials, including the IT Pros website, email campaigns, case studies, slide decks, and printed collateral.​
  • Media may also appear on social platforms (such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook) and within future event promotions, recaps, and highlight reels.​
  • By submitting a LinkedIn registration form or any other registration form for an IT Pros event, you acknowledge this notice and grant IT Pros a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, edit, and publish event photos, videos, and recordings featuring you for marketing and promotional purposes, in any media now known or later developed.​
  • By attending the event (whether live in‑person or virtually), you confirm this consent and waive any right to inspect or approve the final materials in which your image or contributions may appear, to the extent permitted by applicable law.​

Your privacy and personal information

  • In addition to media content, IT Pros may collect personal information from registration forms (for example, name, email address, company, role, and event preferences) to manage the event, send confirmations and reminders, and follow up with resources and future event invitations.​
  • This information will be used only for lawful purposes consistent with the expectations set in this privacy notice and any additional privacy policy linked on the registration form, and will not be used to request sensitive categories of data prohibited under LinkedIn’s event terms.​

Opt‑out options and contact

  • If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify IT Pros before or at the start of the event and, where possible, avoid on‑camera areas or turn off your camera and microphone in virtual sessions; however, fully opting out may not be possible in all formats (for example, large group shots).​
  • You may contact IT Pros at info@itprosphilly.com to ask questions about this notice or, where required by law, to request limited removal of specific images or recordings that identify you, subject to technical and practical limitations.
