ITWorks

ITWorks 1

In 2019, IT Pros began supporting ITWorks as a continued way to give back to the local tech community of Philadelphia. Since the inception of IT Pros in 2011, the mission remains to help companies grow with the right people. IT Pros has since added to our mission to help raise those up around the local tech community who are eager to learn by proudly supporting the ITWorks program and their 16-week job training program to help prepare young adults for entry-level IT careers without the need for a degree.

With over 500 graduates, ITWorks is a proven program training young people for entry-level IT careers. During the FREE 16-week program, students spend the first 11 weeks in the classroom learning about PC hardware, troubleshooting, IT networking, security, and much more to prepare for the CompTIA A+ certification. Then, students gain real-life, hands-on experience during a five-week internship at a local corporation or nonprofit. The program is offered twice a year – Spring and Fall – and is bolstered by the support of over 100 volunteers.

Graduates are eligible for roles as Help Desk Technicians, End User Support Techs, IT Specialists, Field Technicians, and much more!
